We are thrilled to announce that we have signed the next three books in the Gideon Locke Naval Adventures by Dan Donato: action-packed Age of Sail adventures set in the 18th century.
In Dan’s words:
“I’m very excited to be working with Sapere Books on the next three instalments of the Gideon Locke Naval Adventures. The entire team at Sapere are a delight to work with and their expert editorial staff elevated the first three Gideon Locke books to another level.
“The next three books are set towards the end of Queen Anne’s War, when the world’s great empires fought to fortify their New World holdings and take whatever territory they could before the war came to a close. The new adventures will see Gideon, Mr Abe, Fitzgerald and the rest of the crew fighting ship-to-ship battles, caught up in the desperate siege of Rio de Janeiro, and engage in a large fleet action fought between British privateers and French corsairs. And as the war concludes, Gideon’s murky past finally catches up with him.
“Along the way we’ll also see the return of real historical figures including Lord Archibald Hamilton, captains Ben Hornigold, Henry Jennings and Regnier Tongrelou, as well as Ed Teach (Blackbeard) and other famous British privateers.”
The Privateer and Vigilant are available from Amazon now.
