William H. Keith Jr was raised in the mountains of western Pennsylvania and served in the Navy as a corpsman for many years.
A prolific author of science fiction, action and thriller novels, he has written under several pseudonyms, most notably as H. Jay Riker and Ian Douglas.
In addition to his writing, he is an award-winning illustrator/artist.
