
R M Cullen was born in Dublin and brought up in Australia and then England, she has now found her way back to Ireland and is enjoying the coastal scenery and friendly welcome in North Wexford.
Following degrees in History from the Universities of Manchester and Keele, she pursued a career in the theatre, including as a puppeteer, and then began to write plays for companies such as the RSC, Contact Theatre and numerous community and theatre-in-education projects. After completing a Masters degree in Scriptwriting she wrote for film and TV and taught scriptwriting at Bournemouth University.
In recent years she has concentrated on writing prose, with short stories published in anthologies and online journals, and independently published novels. Her Richard Brinsley Sheridan Mysteries are 18th century crime thrillers set in London at a time of Revolution.
