Anthony Palmiotti

Anthony Palmiotti worked both afloat and ashore in the American merchant marine. He holds an unlimited Master’s license and has worked on ocean-going vessels both large and small. He transitioned ashore and became a Professor and, later, Department Chairman at the SUNY Maritime College where he taught celestial navigation and other subjects related to marine operations. Retirement has allowed him to be very involved in the local Habitat for Humanity and Search and Rescue in the northern Rocky mountains.

Anthony lives with his wife and a big, black dog on a mountain in NW Montana.
